What an affiliate link is
When we recommend a flight, a hotel or an activity, the link you see carries an identifier of ours. If you book on that site, the provider pays us a small commission for sending you. The price you pay is exactly the same as you'd see going directly to the provider's site — there's no extra cost for using our links.
Who we work with
We show options from partners we have a verified affiliate relationship with. The main ones:
- Flights: Aviasales.
- Hotels: Booking.com.
- Activities and tours: GetYourGuide, Tiqets, Klook.
- Transfers and cars: Kiwitaxi, DiscoverCars.
Depending on the destination we also suggest connectivity partners (eSIM), travel insurance and other services. In every case the same rules apply: the price you pay doesn't change and you book on the provider's official site.
What this doesn't change
- We don't recommend based on the commission. If a better option for you comes from a provider we have no affiliation with, we show it anyway. The criterion is what fits your trip, not the commission.
- We don't process your payment. You always book on the provider's official site, with their terms and their customer support.
- The price isn't altered. You pay what you'd pay going directly.
Transparency about searches
When the assistant searches for real options, we call the APIs of the partners listed above (flight prices, hotel search, activities…). Those queries travel with an identifier of ours so the provider knows they come from tuPetate, but they carry no personal information of yours beyond the destination and dates you gave us.
Compliance
This affiliate disclosure complies with the recommendations of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and with the European Union's usual compliance practices for sites with affiliate-marketing revenue.
